Quarterback Sean Renfree and defensive end Greg Scruggs, two prep football players recruited by the University of Tennessee, have committed to other schools, according to a report at govolsxtra.com.
Sean Renfree has decided to play at Duke for former Vols' offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe. Renfree is 6-foot-3, 200-pounder from Notre Dame Prep in Scottsdale, Ariz..
Scruggs, from St. Xavier in Cincinnati, committed to Louisville, according to the report. He took his official visit to Knoxville on Dec. 7 but also was considering Michigan State, N.C. State and Wake Forest.
Following Renfree's decision, Casey Kelly from Sarasota (Fla.) High School is thought to be the only quarterback still on UT’s board. The 6-2, 190-pounder is rated the 17th and 21st best prospect in the nation according to Rivals and Scout, respectively.
All commitments are non-binding until prospects sign with a school on National Signing Day is Feb. 6.
